I recently had the pleasure of meeting and watching Akemi Solloway  perform The Japanese Tea Ceremony at The Tea Box.

Akemi is the daughter of a samurai family and a teacher and lecturer of Japanese language and culture. Akemi presents authentic Japanese culture in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for people in the UK. Akemi organises and leads study tours and cultural visits to Japan.
